I just wanted to send a big thank you to the Dionnes who performed at our wedding on 4th September in Kilkenny. Originally we had booked the 9 piece band but due to Covid 19 restrictions had to reduce the booking to 4. Due to this I assumed it would be more background music rather than a big band vibe but how wrong I was! Even with just 3 singers and a keyboard player the Dionnes gave it socks and I was delighted to see so many of our guests up and dancing. For most people it was their first social event in months and everyone was really complimentary of the amazing talent on display. We were all pretty devastated when the music stopped at 11:30pm in line with current guidelines but it gave us all some very happy memories! 

We had The Dionnes play at our wedding in January. We went for their 9 piece and they absolutely nailed it. Everyone was praising the music and it was probably the highlight of the day. The vocals were just incredible. All from age 12 to 80 adored the band. We could not have been happier with the quality of entertainment on the night and ease of booking the band. Fiona was very helpful when we were booking/deciding first dance etc. We also booked the bands DJ for later and he was fantastic too.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your amazing music on Saturday. The church music was flawless and all perfect song choices. Really added to the ceremony.As for the drinks reception everyone was raving about the fantastic soul singers. We just loved it all. You guys were perfect.Sorry I didn’t get to thank you in person - it was a very busy day.I wouldn’t be surprised if you get a few calls from people at our wedding as they were all asking who you were.Thank you so much for adding to our day. We are so happy to have had you there.

You really were absolute stars on the night. The energy in the room was electric and the dance floor was full for the entire set. Some of our older relations, who usually wouldn’t stay so late, told us they felt like they were at a show and loved every minute of it. The hotel staff were also talking about you the next day, asking where you were based and how we found you….the word is out!!!

You are all star performers and your hard work and dedication to music shines on stage.

We had The Dionnes at our wedding last Fri 4th January in The Slieve Russell Hotel and boy did they tear the house down. We couldn't have been happier. The dance floor was full all night. Wow wow wow!!! What can we say.. well firstly, sorry it's taken us so long to write. We have been on honeymoon and only just back so getting round to all our thank you's.

You guys were by far the high-light of our evening. Your music was just fantastic and the set-list kept everyone on their feet all evening. Our guests have been raving about you. Saying how fantastic it is to see a female band and how great the style was. You were the best choice by far and i'm so glad you were able to make the date for us.

We work within the music industry and had so many people there from record companies that were all singing your praises.

We just wanted to say another big thank you to you and all the Dionnes. You were absolutely the highlight of our wedding (along with the weather!)When we were planning our wedding we spoke about what was most important to us and decided it was music and making sure our guests had a great time- you more than ticked both these boxes for us. We’d watched videos of you guys but your voices are all out of this world in person. I’ve already had a few people texting asking your details and we got so many compliments about our choice of band on the night. The ceremony music was superb also and it was fantastic to have the music we wanted with no fuss. A few people commented they thought we were playing pre-recorded tracks because Sharon’s voice was so amazing. On top of this you guys have been a pleasure to deal with which is also really appreciated.Thank you for helping make Friday the best day for us.

The Dionnes are absolutely fantastic. Their song selection is perfect, their medleys keep the party rolling, their musicianship is top quality, and with 9 musicians they've got all the songs covered. Particularly impressive is the powerhouse vocal harmonies. As mentioned in earlier reviews, the dance floor was filled the entire time. If your occasion is special enough to warrant music, please do yourself a favor and hire this band. I'm the brother of the bride and made a last minute request to have them back-up me and my dad for a special song. I'm still blown away that they, within a mere portion of a set-break, were able to learn the song. This made the evening so much more special and memorable for everyone. They went above and beyond for us. I am forever grateful!

The Dionnes played our wedding at Bellingham Castle this year and every single person that we talked to afterwards told us how much they loved the music - "This band is amazing! Where did you find them?". People who normally don't dance were on the dance floor all night - and the music, the vocals, the performance and the costume changes were all just fantastic.

Thanks also to DJ James, who picked up the moment The Dionnes guys finished and gave us exactly the kind of music that kept everyone on the dance floor. In fact there was one moment where a French friend was thinking of leaving, when he just happened to play Dalida (one of our French favourites) - and she decided to stay up for the rest of the night.

So thanks again for a fantastic evening. We really couldn't have been happier!

We really could not have been happier and our guests have not stopped saying how much they enjoyed it.My father is a retired classical musician from the NSO and for the first time in my 44 years I saw him and a couple of his old colleagues get their groove on! They loved it, I don’t think they have seen that style of music done properly like that before, with a buzzing dancefloor!And you were so obliging with our first dance (beautiful version), the Abba medley and Proclaimers, and letting the lads join you for a couple of numbers. The amount of people that came to me and said the Dionnes were the best band they’ve ever heard was amazing!

We cannot thank you guys enough for playing our wedding. It did many things……it kept people dancing all night and it also showed everyone in the room that a wedding band doesn’t mean the same thing that it used to. People are still talking about you! We spent months trying to find the perfect band for myself and Orla and almost gave up to be honest. You can see how people just end up with the usual generic band who are interchangeable with the next, a good wedding band is really hard to find. The Dionnes are not only the best wedding band in Ireland but arguably the best live band in Ireland period…..their ability to bring a room alive is matched by none. Amazing vocals from all 3 girls and a band so tight you could set your watch by them…Thanks for bringing the noise guys 

The Dionnes were a burst of energy at my 1950’s themed Birthday party. They made sure that I was happy with their playlist before the night and were open to taking any requests that I had. Their showmanship was extraordinary and their interaction with the crowd had everyone on their feet which added a special atmosphere to the night. I would highly recommend them and be only to delighted to attend any of their up coming gigs

A huge thanks from Claire and Ado to you all. From start to finish your amazing 9 piece Soul band played an up tempo set that kept everyone dancing all night long and wanting you to stay all night! You played a wide variety of Soul classics that were up there with the originals. Your brass section really added depth to the sound. Top marks all round! My friend had the Dionnes last night at their wedding and they were amazing. A really tight band of great musicians with lovely brass and fronted by three fantastic vocalists .... the volume was also spot on too, just loud enough to give a party vibe but not uncomfortable either great song selection had us all up from the first song. Highly recommended! !!

BEST WEDDING BAND EVER!! I never thought I'd have a Motown band at my wedding but when I saw the girls perform in the sugar club I fell in love with their energy, dance moves and amazing performances. I knew I had to have them. Well let me tell you, they have to be one of the best wedding bands in Ireland, the energy was electric, the dance floor was packed all night and they had everyone from my 16 year old cousin to my 70 year old aunt busting moves on the dance floor. That's the beauty of the Dionnes, their music appeals to everyone. Their modern covers were epic as well, and their version of Beyonce's Crazy in Love as their last song was actually one of my highlights of the whole day (I may have actually cried with happiness a little!) Every guest said they were the best wedding band they had ever seen. Even my older uncles admitted this! My musician friends were in awe of the band and brass section. And one of my best friends booked them the following week for her own wedding! I couldn't recommend them enough AND they even did a costume change. True professionals!

What's a fantastic night. The Dionnes surpassed our expectations in every way. They kept the floor filled all night and were a pleasure to deal with right from when we first met them. Couldn't stop dancing! If we could give higher then a five we would!!

It is most difficult to describe just how good The Dionnes were at our wedding. Their Motown/Soul/Funk was out of control and just up our street. Loved the big sound from the brass and the three singers. Their style is just fantastic. So many guests told us the band were amazing. If you end up booking them then you are in for a serious treat my friend. It will be the best decision you will have made that day. All the best to The Dionnes in the future. A quick note to say how much everyone enjoyed your performance at the Vintage Fashion & Decor Fair last Sunday. So many people came up to me afterwards to say they thought the Dionnes were just fabulous: they loved the songs, the harmonies, the backing group were great, and everyone loved way you looked and performed on stage. The three of you have a lovely, easy stage presence which was perfect for the event, I could see that the audience warmed to you immediately.
